Propane...the safe clean burning fuelThe Western Propane Gas Association (WPGA) has approximately 200 member companies representing the entire spectrum of the propane industry in California and Nevada.
WPGA was formed in 1949 to offer propane industry members the opportunity to learn through training and networking with peers. The Associations primary focus continues to be education, training and regulatory compliance.
WPGA members are companies that range from small businesses to large corporations, as well as individual and associate members. Member companies include propane producers, wholesalers, retailers, transporters and manufacturers of appliances, cylinders and equipment, and related services.
Through constant legislative vigilance and lobbying, WPGA influences state, regional and federal legislation. We communicate regularly with regulatory agencies on behalf of the industry to ensure the safe use and availability of propane in the market place.
The Western Propane Gas Association is affiliated with the National Propane Gas Association.
